When Wrinkle-Free Clothing Also Means Formaldehyde Fumes

T: It seems there are some hazards to wearing wrinkle free clothes (beside the fact that I think they look weird).

Click the title above to read a New York Times article on the topic.

T: Via the New York Times Style Magazine.  I can’t imagine how much these things cost:
Barbour, the U.K.-based outerwear company and holder of the warrant to supply “waterproof and protective clothing” to England’s royal family, has created a limited-edition collection of boots with the New England-based shoemaker Rockport. The signature rain-resistant waxed cotton used in Barbour’s weatherproof jackets has been hand-stitched to rough, textured leathers in three styles of boots that incorporate the advanced technology in walking comfort for which Rockport is known. Though a bit rugged for most workplaces, they’re a perfect match for the tweed pants and suits now hitting stores for the coming winter — and will most certainly weather any storm, be it in a peat bog or a concrete canyon.

Unwilted Men

T: It has been far too hot lately.  Andrew and I just got back from Miami, where the tempature never dropped below 81 degrees during our week long vacation (pictures to follow very soon).

In any event, click on the title above for a link to a New York Times collage/video article by NYT fashion photographer Bill Cunningham on how to stay fly during the heat.  The dude might be a little odd, but he takes incredible pictures and his narrations are hysterical.

The Summer Boot

T: Click on the article above for a piece from the New York Times Fashion section about Keds chukkas.  I like them because the high top will make you stand out from the low-top canvas sneaker crowd this summer.  I prefer the blue Chambray ones below.  They would go nicely with a pair of rolled up khakis or seersucker/madras shorts.

NYT Reviews Club Monaco

T:  Found this on Valetmag.com .  On a recent visit, Andrew and I were also unimpressed with the clothes at Club Monaco.  Click above to go to the article.
