T: The other day, we talked about the off-field kits of the English and Japanese soccer teams here.  After I finished the article, I began to wonder what sartorial delights Uncle Sam would cook up for our own national team. 

I was more than a little disappointed when I came across the picture above at put this on.  If I ever got a chance to meet MULTIPLE presidents and the most stylish VP ever (Joey Biden), I hope I would be dressed more formally than our boys above who are rocking too-long khakis with track jackets and hideous light brown shoes. 

As a jock myself, I am not immune to wearing ridiculous “formal” team-issue outfits.  You will find yours truly in the back row of this photo with the shaggy brown hair.  For some reason, many rugby All-Star team managers think its a good idea to provide their players with team issue polos for “formal events” like registration with USA rugby, traveling, and going out to team dinners.  Clearly, we look very classy in this picture.  This picture was taken the night before a bunch of the guys decided to have team dinner at Hooters.
