Let's be careful about recommending certain footwear to prevent injury. Yes, people like lifting in chucks, but this is because they feel closer to the ground, which may feel more stable during heavy lifts. Claiming that wearing chucks will prevent injury, however, is misleading as it isn't necessarily true. Flexibility, individual biomechanical characteristics, different types of feet, and technique will all impact what kind of footwear is best.

Wow, readers (who are also excellent bloggers) are dropping knowledge bombs. 

Is this really happening on a menswear blog?
