The Aftermath and A Request

T: As I posted a few months ago, I finally washed my jeans raw selvedge jeans.  I washed them in the bathtub with Woolite Dark.  I let them soak for about an hour and then I washed the soap off with cold water.  Because the model of jeans I have (Iron Heart) is really heavy denim, it took over 2 days for them to air dry.

Here is a picture of the jeans in the bathtub.

Jeans Post Wash

As you can tell, there held their color pretty well.  I know that refraining from washing your jeans for 14 months isn’t for everyone but it worked for me.

P.S. As you can probably tell from how infrequently we have been posting lately, Andrew is dead and all I have gotten so many concussions that I am unable to post anything over 500 words.

Seriously, Andrew and I currently have writer’s block.  If you have any ideas for new posts or questions, send them our way.
