Unlined Blazer!

T: I’ve been shopping around lately for an unlined blazer that I can wear casually in the summer months.  It seems like everyone is making them these days.

I’ve been having a lot of trouble because although I normally wear a 44 or 46, I have VERY long arms.  Sadly, I haven’t found an unlined blazer that comes in “Long” sizes.  Many of my shirts that are size L or even XL have sleeves that only come down to my forearms (which means I have very tanned wrists).  This is okay because I can roll my shirt sleeves but not blazer sleeves.

I’m tempted to purchase (not cop) the jacket below from L.L. Bean Signature because of their generous return policy. It might be worth a shot right?

Author’s note: I know that This Fits has been doing a series about unlined blazers.  But, considering he wears size 32 sleeves and not 36 or 37 like me, it isn’t super useful.

  1. drewcoffman said: I have the LL Bean joint and it’s fantastic. I got it on the cheap when they had their last sale, and I have no regrets whatsoever. It’s a little thick (I live in Florida) but it’s super versatile and looks just unique enough.
