Anonymous asked: Fellas, I'm in my mid-twenties and I was wondering if you guys had any tips for a nice go-to weekday cologne. I already have a scent I like to wear on the weekends and another for very special occasions but nothing for the Mon-Fri set when I just may be seeing my lady friend...any ideas?

Anonymous asked: Gonna get some Jack Purcell Converse for a generic sneaker because I can't afford Common Projects or Lanvin, yanno? That shit is not young money. I am torn between the two though...one is canvas, and the other is leather...

Let's be careful about recommending certain footwear to prevent injury. Yes, people like lifting in chucks, but this is because they feel closer to the ground, which may feel more stable during heavy lifts. girouxmcisaak asked: Hey guys. I love the website. One minor issue with your last article: Running shoes are good for the gym if you're going to be doing cardio, but they aren't the best for weightlifting, particularly with squats and deadlifts. For that, Chucks are actually the better choice to prevent injury.

What to Wear to the Gym
T: A lot of my single friends spend more time hitting on girls at their gyms than they do at bars. When I was in college, I “wasted” countless hours in the gym talking to girls in the gym. But, I do like to think that it helped me once or twice.
After all, when my fiance and I were first dating we used to meet up at the gym to get ready for our respective college sports seasons (I...

The Aftermath and A Request
T: As I posted a few months ago, I finally washed my jeans raw selvedge jeans. I washed them in the bathtub with Woolite Dark. I let them soak for about an hour and then I washed the soap off with cold water. Because the model of jeans I have (Iron Heart) is really heavy denim, it took over 2 days for them to air dry.
Here is a picture of the jeans in the bathtub.
Here is a shot of them...

Unlined Blazer!
T: I’ve been shopping around lately for an unlined blazer that I can wear casually in the summer months. It seems like everyone is making them these days.
I’ve been having a lot of trouble because although I normally wear a 44 or 46, I have VERY long arms. Sadly, I haven’t found an unlined blazer that comes in “Long” sizes. Many of my shirts that are size L or...
